Leggz of art program

Leggz of Art Program

2021 was our first year of our Leggz of Art program where we selected a Canadian artist to collaborate with us to develop an exclusively designed pair of leggings that highlighted the artist and She’s Got Leggz on social media and through our corporate and replicated websites. This is an outstanding opportunity to feature your story and your artwork on a national level!

To apply to be a Leggz of Art Artist, please download the submission form below, fill it out, and submit it to Leggz.Of.Art@ShesGotLeggz.ca. Submissions for the 2025 Leggz of Art Program must be received by 11:59PM ET on November 15, 2024.

*Please note: this program is not open to employees of or Stylists with She’s Got Leggz.*

2024 - The Orb Leggings by CHaris Toews

Introducing our 2024 Leggz of Art creation, THE ORB Leggings, where fashion meets cosmic inspiration. What’s an orb, you ask? It’s a spherical body or globe, symbolizing the universe as a harmonious whole, and now, it’s the centrepiece of our newest artistic design created by our 2024 Leggz of Art artist Charis Toews.

Charis has been creating art since birth, using it as a way to process her life and emotions, whether she is experiencing turmoil or blessings. Passionate about depicting the feelings within her spirit and physical self, she is driven to create something beautiful.

2022 - Rejuvenate Leggings by Tina Makwana

REJUVENATE is our new print for our Leggz of Art Program. The artwork on these leggings is from Canadian artist, Tina Makwana. Tina, a self-taught artist, found art in her life at a young age and has used many mediums – sketching, painting and food art. She loves her art to capture her personality and culture.

These limited edition artwork leggings combine two of Tina’s creations – a dappled paisley and lotus flower design in bright vibrant colours represent regeneration, purity and enlightenment. The design also includes the golden elephant head symbolizing strength, power and prosperity.

In Tina’s words: “As a Hindu, as a woman, as an artist, this piece shows the fun and exciting aspects of colours, the delicateness of the flowers, yet the bold and strong motivation of nature.”

2021 - Suncatcher Leggings by Tracey Metallic

SUNCATCHER is our inaugural print for our Leggz of Art Program. The artwork on these leggings is from an Indigenous artist, Tracey Metallic. Tracey’s story of the Suncatcher is a deeply passionate one born of her journey through struggles and depression. Through her art, she found an outlet to express herself. These leggings combine Suncatcher and elements of Tracey’s other artwork to create this beautiful limited edition print.

Tracey has chosen The Bloom Group and Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society for the per-pair donations.
